The Science

Ristara is built on the Ashtakoota system, a time-tested Vedic astrology framework used for over 3,000 years to assess relationship compatibility.

The Ashtakoota System

Ashtakoota (meaning "eight points") is a compatibility assessment method that evaluates eight different aspects of a relationship, each with specific point values totaling 36.

This system analyzes the Moon signs (Rashis) and birth stars (Nakshatras) of two individuals to determine their cosmic compatibility across emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions.
